“Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”
Knot Forgotten is a global crochet toy movement organised by Open Doors Australia & Open Doors New Zealand. Our mission is to connect the worldwide crochet community and share Jesus’ love with displaced children around the world through hand crocheted and knitted toys. Over 300 makers from more than 30 countries are currently involved in creating and donating Knot Forgotten toys. Between August 2017 and February 2018 over 1200 toys have been donated.
Knot Forgotten toys are destined for children living in extremely difficult conditions. Our goal is to bring each child a cuddly friend in times of loneliness or fear. All Knot Forgotten toys will travel with our team to be distributed to children living as refugees, specifically Syrian & Iraqi children in 2018. Each toy is a reminder to these children that they are not forgotten and that they are so very loved.
Children are important to Jesus, and so they are to us.
